sometimes ones gets a great notion to write and rightly so .. so here's my dubious addition to the internet ..

scores takes you to a page of discussion about some tunes i've written plus an archive of scores if you so inclined .. persuader takes you to a page describing a musical i am involved in called "the great persuader" and shadow is a link to my cd page with options to purchase or just peruse .. links lets you get the heck out of here and go to some related sites

5/29/09 - here's a little clip of the piano intro to a choral tune i'm writing based on two versions of "the cuckoo" .. you know, the tune that goes
"oh the cuckoo, she's a pretty bird
and she warbles as she flies"
this piano intro is based on the banjo version by clarence ashley, collected by alan lomax ...
there's a lot more to do on it, but should be done in a month or so and will post it here ...

5/21/09 - i was working on transcribing some vassar clements tunes, and a recording of kissimmee kid he did with david grissman .. he played an outrageous ending to it, and so here it is .. this is as close as i could get to it as it was a copy of a copy, then an mp3 ..
